Michael Ahmadi

​

Michael is the firm's principal. He is a litigator with a focus on civil litigation and insurance coverage matters. 

​

Prior to starting this firm, Michael practised in the litigation group of a boutique Vancouver firm. His practice focused on tort, commercial, and insurance matters. 

​

Prior to practising in Vancouver, Michael practised in the litigation and insurance coverage group of an established Toronto firm. While there, he litigated matters involving: product liability, construction law, motor vehicle liability, occupier’s liability, contractual disputes, condominium disputes, and defamation actions, among others. He also advised insurers on and litigated complex coverage matters relating to a variety of policy types.

Michael has been called to the Ontario Bar and British Columbia Bar. He has appeared before Ontario and British Columbia Courts. 

​

Michael received his J.D. in 2011 from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. While at law school, Michael received prizes for the highest standing in the courses of Insurance Law and Securities Regulation, as well as the highest overall standing in the third year of the program.

​

Prior to obtaining his J.D., Michael received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in finance from the University of British Columbia. He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.
